Finn and Jack spoke to Adrienne Webb, chairperson of CESI to hear about their “Spark the Imagination” conference.  She speaks about her long term involvement with CESI and the work that they do to support teachers to integrate technology in their classrooms.

Jack and David interviewed teachers Drew Buddie and Bianca Grogan on the benefits of using the  makey makey kit in classrooms.  In the interview they told us that every child should have a good IT educatoin beacause the vast majority of jobs in the future will involve some type of IT knowledge. You can listen to our interview here

Interview with Dr. Daithí Ó Murchú

Dr. Daithí Ó Murchú gave a keynote presentation at the CESI Conference today.  I think it’s fair to say that he sparked people’s imagination.  He encouraged attendeees to create teaching and learning environments that work best for their students.  We heard about immersive and wearable technologies, the blurrring of the lines between reality and imagination as well as his proposed second trip to Everest among other things.  David and Finn continued the conversation with Daitihí in their interview.
